Boulder County offering inexpensive trees to residents
Offer lasts until October 20th
Our Sustainability Office wants you to enjoy a more comfortable, environmentally-friendly home! So they’re selling 400 trees at a discounted price!
You can reserve a 5-gallon tree for just $25. Sign up before October 20th here: http://arborday.org/bouldercounty
The trees offered are Bur Oak, Greenspire Linden, Hackberry and Ponderosa Pine.

Lafayette rolling out program for lower costs on home improvements
Lafayette just announced a new program to help residents finance home improvements that lower their energy use. If you’ve been wanting to add insulation, replace windows and appliances, the city will provide you a loan with:
1.5% interest rate
Repayments will be included in your monthly city utility bills
12- to 60-month terms
Ranging from $1,000 to $5,000
Available to qualified low- and middle-income households
Applications received by Nov. 2nd will be funded on a first-come, first served basis
If there are funds still available, there’ll be a second round of applications starting Nov. 12th.
